Hi all
The mods have just added the camino real hotel for me in torremolinos into the hotel review section. I am due to pay off a balance on a holiday and am really anxious to know what this place is like. Does anyone know if its ok or any infor about it at all. really hope you can help
thanks a million
http://www.holidaysuncovered.co.uk but there are three holiday reviews on that website. BBB
Hi, don't know if you have looked on
Dont know what the hotel is like, but the name rings a bell.If its the one Im thinking of its located in an area between Montemar and Arroyo de la Miel, in a place called El Penillo, in C/Los Alamos not far from where I have an apartment. There is a bit of building work going on in the area but I dont think its anywhere near your hotel. The cercanias station El Penillo is nearby, and the bars and restuarants of Arroyo are a 15 minute stroll up Ave Benalmadena
Sorry sunworshiper, there is a Camino Real hotel in Torremolinos, in Ave de Tirajana this is the one your enquiring about not the Camino Real apartments in El Penillo.
Hi the Camino Reale is right on the sea front its basically the first hotel you come to from the airport. After the Camino Reale you have got the Puente Reale and then the Beach Club Hotel if you no were there are at. Its a bit far out from the shops etc i would say a good 25 mins walk also the bus stops right outside hotel and its 1 Euro each way to take you directly into town if you dont feel like walking , hope this helps and enjoy your holiday.
Thanks so much for all your kind help. Unfortuntely I have had to cancel my holiday as my father has been ill. We had originally moved it from June to September because at the time the doctors did not think he would last until June. He is still hanging in there and is very ill so we could not take the chance to leave Ireland in case anything were to happen. We actually lost our deposits and the price paid on insurance and also the charge that was imposed for movin from June to Sept. The insurance does not cover you when a relative has had a health condition when the holiday was booked even though the relative himself was never actuallly booked on the holiday. Personally I feel this negates the point of having insurance at all. At the time we booked the holday dad had the condition of emphesema but has since develped cancer. The travel agents said we would only be paid if we could prove that he died from the cancer and not the emphesema.. At this time there is so much pressure on a family it was best to just pull out altogether and not pay the balance. Am disappointed to think that travel insurance works like this.. does this mean that if your parent has angina and dies from a heart attack when youre on holiday that your not covered? Anyway just thought Id let you all know my story.
