Hi Nia & family,
we stayed in Cristina for 1 week in june.
Good points :
the food was very good, plentiful, varied and catered for every taste even hubby enjoyed the food & he is fussy!!!
the staff are very attentive and friendly
the hotel and room we had was clean and the view was superb!!
Bad/minor points :
Some of our party who paid the same as we did unfortunately got a lower standard of room which were up quite alot of steps (and being on a hillside there are quite alot, there are lifts to all areas though) - their main complaint was that even that they had a small patio/veranda, it was quite shaded by trees and therefore the rooms were quite dark.

We did not go swimming in the pool by the restaurant as someone said it was cold but there was another one which apparently was ok - probably will be warmer later into the summer.
there were also quite alot of germans there, as there is on the whole of lake garda.
Lake Garda itself is is absolutely stunning, relaxing and somewhere you must go if you have not been before.
Limone is small, quaint, gorgeous and relaxing.
the hotel is about 10 -15 mins stroll down the hillside to limone, easy downhill, but probably not for the unfit/infirm going back up, although it is all footpaths. There is a courtesy bus which runs during daytime hours but not at night. there is evening entertainment (?) solo singers/duets on keyboards which is quite fitting for the ambience of summer evenings sat under lemon trees, by the pool getting extremely merry!
Don't know your ages, but would say no major nightlife in hotel, but think there may be a night club in Limone. The atmosphere in many of the bars out does the need for discos/entertainment - we had a truly relaxing holiday.
would we go back - yes please !! Tomorrow?

On the whole we would go back to the hotel
