hi lewisn, our son and partner are getting married there and we are staying at the atlantica princess,we are off three weeks tomorrow,and they get married the following week. i dont know much about the reception etc, but will post all the details when we get back, all the best to you and you fiance in your married life.

I'd imagine it will be like St. Paul's at Lindos. You get married outside the monastery unless you are Greek orthodox so there is no music.The meals after at any taverna are usually very good. Good luck to you both. Anne

If I were getting married, I would be asking so many questions about my wedding, I would suggest that you find out as much information as possible as to what is and isn't included so as to avoid dissappointment on such an important day.

Most travel agencies have extra services that you can add on to their basic wedding package, some nice ideas are a champagne cocktail party immediately after the wedding service, live music at the reception, a decorated venue, specific favourite flowers in your bouquet, balloon decorations, an open top car for your arrival.
