Wow, hope this wasn't a snap decission!

Having bought an apartment in Malta all I can advise is that you add up to twelve months to any time limits you are given regarding contractors!

I suppose it's like spain where they say Manyana. In Malta when you ask when will it be finished or when it will be done you just receive the 'Maltese smile' :)

I hope all goes well for you and if do get your bar let me know! however You will need a lot of patience.

Hey Rob
Read your question and we were interested in knowing how your search is going, I would also love to move to Malta such a relaxed way of life. Not sure though what we would do, we are going over again in Oct. for 2 weeks so who knows we might just find what we are lookng for. Let me know how youe search is coming along and good luck
