hello everyone!now i've been inspired by south wales and the lovely coastline/people there,i'm now thinking of going to newquay and/or aberystwyth!can anyone recommend any sites in that area and is there enough to do around there?i know there's a haven site[quay west]but there are others around clarach bay!
any info very greatly appreciated [AGAIN!]luv marshyxx
Haven used to have a caravan park there but they've sold it on to another group. Not sure who but its called Brynowen.
Quiete place, just across the road from the beach ( in fact the town is just one long road that runs along the beach really ).
Plenty of places to visit - Aberystwyth, Devil's Bridge, Machynlleth (home of Owain Glyndwr's welsh parliament), Aberdovey., and the Centre for Alternative Technology which our kids loved. There is a small train station there if you didnt want to drive everywhere.
We've stayed there twice. My son was ill the first time and as a result we didnt get to half the places we wanted to visit so we went back another year

Chris, I think you will find Marshy is enquiring about Newquay, West Wales and not Newquay, Cornwall.
Hollywell Bay is right near a lovely beach, where the sea comes into rock pools etc. very safe for children. We loved it
Hollywell Bay in Newquay is beautiful, though!
Hi again try this link it leads to a few others .sioux
I know Newquay will be lovely, having seen some photos, especially if we get the weather.just know good weather isn't guaranteed in good old GB so keeping my options open!
much love to you all

The area around LLangranog a few miles down the coast is beautiful. Wonderful sandy beaches & spectacular walks.
