Do you need to know much Greek in Rhodes or do most people speak English?
I'm going to Lindos in two weeks and don't know any Greek at all (have only been to Spain in the past).
Are menus etc in English??
I always think it's polite to learn a few words and people do appreciate you making the effort. Some simple greek words you might want to use are PARAKALO - Please, EFCHARISTO - Thankyou, KALIMERA - Good Morning, KALISPERA - Good Afternoon/Evening.
