Its a shame your holiday didn't quite live up to your expectations. I have had a couple of just "ok" holidays in the past. I enjoyed them but wouldn't go back. Yes the weather is dismal in Scotland isn't it?!

What are you on about Fiona with that last comment?. Ibiza wan't fantastic but it was ok. we won't go back but then I can't see the point in going back to the same place every year.

I presume you went Santa Eulalia.Thats the first time I have heard someone say there is a poor quality of resturaunts in this resort.Did you visit the ones on Calle St Vincent?

We're returning to Santa Eulalia next week for the fifth year running, for what we call our "chill week". We call it that because we can just relax for the full week and enjoy the great food & drink.

I've never heard any major complaints about Santa Eulalia before. :(

Hi Marchmont Par,we had that same storm here in Mojacar,Almeria. The good news it only lasted the one day whereas the first early September one in Ibiza usually lasts for about three days.

If you have the time maybe you could add a review to the Atlas Apartments Review page (Link Below)

There are alreadty some but you cant have too many, all the best,John.

I'd be interested to know where all these poor quality and overpriced restaurants are. I've always found the opposite to be true. Places like Sa Llesca, Ca's Pages, La Cucina, Bistrot Cote Sud and Liquido all served high quality food and drink at reasonable prices when I last visited.

The only places that were low quality and overpriced were along the seafront but that is generally true of any holiday resort.

Hi..... a week is never enough!! Glad you had an alright time..how did you find the accomdation, there are some horrendous reviews on some other sites..www.realholidayreports.com etc. I think we must have been in a newly refurbished one. Know what you mean about the restaurants, did you try La Paella? We have decided to go back to Santa Eulalia but it will be to the Don Carlos next time or the Fiesta Palm Beach at Playa den bossa. The kids have taken over the holiday planning now.......I've given up trying to please them all at the same time! Kids clubs are the way forward. :bhead

Was in Fife while you were away enjoying the views from Dalgety Bay....really hot and sunny!

Hi Simon, I come from Fife!!. Nah the whole restaurant thing was maybe a bit of an exaggeration. With only six nights of eating there, it wasn't that bad. La Paella wa ok actually we ate there as the kids were knackered from swimming in the pool all day. The meal in Evissa Town was the worst I have had in a good few years, maybe we just made the wromg choice. Mariners was ok but overpriced, Pier No.1, well we will just draw a veil over that one. Las Ramblas was great and with more time we may have discovered the better ones. With two young kids very hungry and tired, we didn't want to walk around too much. We did find the Euroski and Es Mercado, both cheaper places Atlas were fine but everyone else moaned about how basic they were, we were never in them long enough to notice. I'll go and post a entry in the Atlas bit on Holidays Uncovered. Know what you mean about the Kids club, they dragged us to the Don Carlos five nights out of seven. Still the 5 year old actually won something from one of those claw machines and I did see the goals from the Scotland match!!

Done that Glynis and also reviewed the resort as well.Guess that is it from me. Next year we'll be going someplace else, not Ibiza but not because of anything bad just that I want my kids to experience other places and other countries. Hope you all continue to have good times there or whereever you go.
