I have also had the same problem trying to login on their chat site. So I rang Laskarina who advise that due to inappropriate messages being posted, they have discontinued it! I too will miss the site, it was really informative.

Hi Janita,
could have been the very long and detailed post outlining the arrangement of holidays without the use of a tour operator, not really an ideal subject on a tour operators web site!! Never saw any other posts that could cause offence.

I am a new refugee from the Laskarina page (thanks for the email about this one, rdv) and was very disappointed to see its demise. I had found it useful and entertaining.
I too contacted the company a couple of times and received the same answer about inappropriate comments. Unfortunately the page did not really have a moderator or the problem could doubtless have been avoided.
I am impressed by the layout of this page with sections for so many places in Greece. Very useful.

It's probably best not to speculate on our pages about what may or may not have gone wrong on a completely unconnected website. For that reason, I will close this topic now, but hope that you may enjoy some useful holiday discussion elsewhere in this forum.
