Hey,im off to faliraki aprill,i am hoping to stay out for the summer, what is the weather going to be like then ?,also does anyone know what apollo beach hotel is like ?

Hi

Weather is normally ok in April, nice warm days but it's less predictable than the summer months so you might get some rain if you're unlucky. Nights can be quite cool though and the sea is FREEZING.

Make sure you've got enough cash to see you through the first month or so as many places won't be taking on staff until the main tourist season kicks off in May.

what is falaraki like now, as most people know, it was given a bad name a few years ago, we don't like 18-30's style type places, but wouldn't mind going for a meal there and perhaps spend the day wondering around there when we stay in neighbouring Kalithea

They've improved the image a bit over the last few years and are trying to promote Faliraki as a family resort. It's still a bit too 'English' for my liking but the beach is good and there are some ok places to eat.
I'd say it's not worth going out of your way to visit but as you're in Kallithea and it's only a short taxi ride away (maybe even walking distance depending on the location of your hotel) it's worth a look.

The beach in Faliraki is really nice- lots of watersports availab;le, and there are plenty of restaurants to try. The best ones being on the road that leads to Lindos. Lots of bars offering drinks and little shops selling the usual stuff.

Like marcus said, if your staying not far from it, its worth a look about.
