I have stayed at sun island about 5 yrs ago and stayed in a water bungalow.... The island is fantastic and its definitly worth the extra to stay in the water bungalow, think it worked out about £600 for the two weeks extra to stay in it.............. Read my review of the hotel

veligandu was heaven on earth!

we went there on our honeymoon and it was perfect, we are now on diets trying to loose the weight put on by the lovely food

we went to sun island last year in june(rainy season) had no rain to speak of novemeber is the start of the peak season- had an excellent time and service was brilliant, so was the food. they have their own website http://www.villahotels.com/sun - i would suggest if you can afford go all inclusive and take the sea plane transfer views are brilliant.

We stayed there 2 years ago(Easter) & had the best holiday ever!

We didn't bother with all inclusive & saved £600 - only difference was drinks & we didn't think we'd drink £600 worth! The wines are not the best!!

We stayed in a very nice chalet on the best bit of beach on the island. Although the water bungalows look fab they have no beach with them which I would have missed.

We had 2 days of rain out of 14 - it is a pain as there's not a lot to do but take loads of books, music, etc & you'll be fine!

The snorkelling was superb!
