Dunno if anyone is aware of this but now there are a lot of companys which if you call there number first,they charge you something like 8p then they put you through to the number in Turkey(or any country for that matter)for prices like 2p a minute.
I phoned my pal Turkay in Ankara on his mobile for 5 and a half minutes the call was itemised on my phone bill and the total cost was 25p.Very good i thought.Landlines are even cheaper.
This wont apply to british mobiles being used abroad.
