Posted a while back about my holiday to Lagana with myself, boyfriend and 4 children-3,7,10, and 12.Said i would give a bit of info on my return!-got back on 23rd Sep.
Main let down-Airport terrible! Spent an hour on arrival getting our case and on the return flight- nearly an hour queueing outside then over an hour in airport terminal! Was not impressed (put me off returning a bit!)
Apart from that had a wicked holiday. It was a lot more busier with the 'younger crowd' on our first week. But when we left there seemed to be more families with children. We stayed at the ALEXANDER HOTEL! IT WAS GREAT! (WILL POST A REPORT IN HOTEL REVIEWS) Lagana is the liveliest resort on the Island. I will be honest theres not much for kids.( If you are taking children definatly avoid main season!) They had to ammuse themselves.We spent most of our nights in CHEVYS, a sports bar with x-box and pool table etc! Kids loved it! As for us adults we had a few nights out. Bars had good deals on- 2euro for a cocktail. Had my friend with us for the 1st week, went to some of the clubs- till 6am!! Weather was brill. Two days of bad storms.Went on the Shipwreck trip but had to turn back...The Waves were bad, the sea was that rough the boat nearly went over. We were on middle deck and got SATURATED!
Took a trip to the tiny waterpark. Yes 6 slides!! BRILL- not! Still killed a day. Hired a jeep! Went to Argassi, Tsillivi. Argassi is lovely, some nice shops there. Would reccomend touring the Island! Beautiful place!
