Try http://www.onlinetravel.co.uk or http://www.airlinenetwork.co.uk and compare the prices. It might also be worth trying individual airline websites, because if you own the plane you can charge what you want and they sometimes have sales to gain market share.
Bear in mind that the time you want to go is peak travel time and will not be cheap but if you are prepared to accept a change of aircraft at a european airport ie amsterdam or Paris, you can save shedloads. Also have a look at Icelandair from London and Manchester for next year.Getting the timing right about when exactly to book is a science I havent been able to fully master yet...
Dont be afraid to do it yourself its fun.Just book by credit card incase anything goes wrong and bob`s your uncle
Have a great holiday
If you want a non stop flight you will have to book early. You don't want to be changing flights with young kids. You want to get on and go straight there.
as far as i know if you want a direct flight you are best not leaving it until the last minute. how about trying the charter airlines?
Hi...I have been going into finding out about what it will cost me next year if I wanted to go Florida. So I did a trial run. I went on Virgin site and went through the online booking procedure for flights hotel ect. I was Plesantly surprised with out come. I found varying flight date by a day made a big difference. I used dates 24/nov/06 to the 7/dec/06. I also found 3 weeks werent that dearer than 2.
