Its really a nice place there, go further on the cost to Cala Ratjada it even nicer...

Thank you. I think when we were in Cala Bona in March we drove round that area which is not far from Cala Bona and said how lovely it was which was why we picked the Canyamel Classic Hotel. The photos of the hotel and surrounding area look good.

Our visit in March was the first time we had visited Majorca having said 'it was not our sort of place'. How wrong we were - ok we headed almost as far as you can go from Magaluf etc. but found the island to be very attractive - and a nice short flight away!!

Went to Canymel for the day back in July because the beach is stunning - didnt really go there to notice hotels but the beach - wow... nice

I am a little concerned that although the Canyamel Classic Hotel features on a lot of accommodation only web-sites I can find no reviews whatsoever.

I am wondering if this hotel particularly appeals to other nationalities rather than us 'Brits'. It is certainly with no British Tour Operators.

We have booked the hotel on the Med Hotels site so could either change or cancel it without too high a penalty if the need arises.

We would actually have preferred to visit Pollensa but can't find any really nice hotels or apartments there. Any suggestions??
