Phone Broadway travel again and obtain a FAX number.
Fax them details of your problem informing them that if you turn-up in Cyprus and there's no availability at the booked hotel you will seek alternate accommodation and bill Broadway - or - if you elect not to travel you will bill Broadway for all your costs.

Put this same info. in a letter and send by recorded delivery having obtained the name of a director or senior manager at Broadway.

You could point out that you intend to report the matter to the trading standards in the first instance and the police after that as they could be construed as fraud. I did this 10 years back with a dodgy hire car company 'selling' vouchers for car-hire - the company went bust a year or 2 later.

If you intend to travel and Broadway are not responding see if you can book alternate accommodation prior to departing and let Broadway know the costs of this. Pay for this on a credit card.

If you paid Broadway by credit card and the cost was more then £100 speak to your card supplier and get that payment frozen - use that same money to rebook a hotel of your choice - still on the card - and bill Braodway for any additional accomm. cost. The original moneies paid by you to Broadway ON A CREDIT CARD in that instance will be frozen as the card supplier is equally liable for the actions of their merchants.

Finally, if all else fails ring Ros Fernihough immed. on 01922 621114 and I'd guess you'll get Pam. Tell her your situation and the urgency and be guided by their advice.

i have recently phoned them again and i was told that my accommodation is booked so i said why havent the hotel got my reservation then and she just kept saying that was booked and put the phone down on me so i phoned the emergencey number on my invoice and told them what she did i started explaining to her about the hotel and she new straight away which hotel i was talking about as she was the one dealing with it and she has contacted there supplier and they have told her all is ok with the booking and that they dont let the hotel know our names till a couple of days before arrival she also give me a contact number for someone in resort i could call if there is any problems thanks for your response
