It definately isn't Redcar beach, that place is filthy.
Around Cabopino, inbetween Calahonda and Marbella, fine white sand and sand dunes.
Where is Redcar beach?
Also Los Boliches up to Carvajal end has a lovely beach. Cleaned every morning the sun beds are kept spotless.

I will be staying in Costa del sol for 2 weeks but hope to hire a car. Can anyone advise which is the nicest most child friendly beach. I personally love white sand but dont think there is any on this stretch. My children dont like big waves and my husband needs shade! I would like a hotel on the beach rather than being at the centre of a busy location.
Blue Flag beaches in the Costa del sol are:-
Bil-Bil & Malapesquera in Benalmadena
El Cristo, El Padron & La Rada in Estepona
Los Boliches & Gaviotas in Fuengirola
Acacia in Malaga, Pedregalejos
Colonia in Manilva, Sabinillas
Nagüeles in Marbella
La Cala de Mijas in Mijas
Burriana & Torrecilla in Nerja
Los Claros & Rincon de la Victoria in Rincon de la Victoria
