To day I took my dear wife into hospital, for her second operation on a milignent melonoma. The prognosis is very good, as she noticed it when it was classed as in stage 1. I hope and pray that it will all turn out OK, but never the less she will be left with a large scar on the tummy.
So please all you people out there, be aware of any moles on your body and get to your doctor stright away if any change in shape or size is noticed.
So be advised you must be so careful of the sun and use that high factor and seek out shade.
Thank you Tom for sharing that with us. I hope your wife has a full, and speedy recovery. xx

tom my best wishes to you and your wife and for a speedy recovery
Tom, Best Wishes to you and your wife, I hope she gets well soon.
I wish your wife a speedy recovery
Thinking of you both and wishing your wife a full and speedy recovery.
I'm having the opposite problem at the moment, i've had a sore mole on my head for the past week been to the docs twice and they have advised me it looks fine but after a week its still sore so i've been back today and asked to be referred to the hosp.
This will be the 2nd time i've been referred and because of the place it is they really don't want to remove it (just above my eyebrow) because i will be left with a scar and this could be a nasty one. The last time i was at the hosp they assured me everything looked ok.
I really don't know what to do because I know they will talk me out of it again but its a risk i take.
I hope everything works out ok for your wife and you - pass our love onto her.
i have just been told i have a rodent ulser [skin cancer] on the back of my leg funny thing is i never expose my legs to the sun
