Hi, has anyone got any infomation on caravan sites in this area.
hubby and I are thinking of touring this area next end of May or end of August/September.
we tend to prefer the smaller campsite, or farm type; the larger camp/caravan sites tend to be wasted on us, as we wake in a morning, coffee and croissants and then off either touring or walking the area, back mid to late afternoon,BBQ or cheese bread and bottle or 2 of red wine, chill, bed, book and sleep; boring I know but we enjoy it, it sure beats running round and being full of stress.
any help would be appreciated, I've looked on the on the net, but they all seem large and full on.
thanks jayne
We have just the ideal place to visit, Twinlakes, Charente Maritme, France
http://www.twinlakesfrance.com
We opened the site April 2004. with exactly we hope a site you are asking about,
Twinlakes is set in 17 acres of rural France, the site is 8 mobile homes for hire, with emplacements for tourers and campers,
Ideally located between 3 villages Mirambeau, Montendre and Jonzac. Plenty of places of interest in the area.
Unfortunately Twinlakes is in the SouthWest of France, not in Champagne-Ardenne which borders Belgium in the NorthEast of France.
