Hi All,
Heading off to Goa for 1 month in 2weeks (5th time).
Here is a stupid question which my GF and her friend want to know.
Can you get Champagne or CaVa in Goa and how much?
I know you can get some Indian wines (Sula) which all seem horrible.
We are going with some friends and one of the women seems to think it should be possible. I keep on saying it's India not the west End! : )
There is a nice champagne called SULA around 550 rups a bottle.

there are wines called (I think) Vin Ballet, and whilst not a connosiuer my wife and I were drinking the Rose and White which was OK. also the local fizz, as above is drinkable.
be prepared to pay more for the wine than the meal!! I think the wine was around £6-7 per bottle, can't remember how much the bubbly was.
