hi snorkelbabe, im glad you had a good time at reef oasis, i have just returned from the coral sea resort and had the best time ever. Hotel, food, people, snorkelling where all fabulous. I would definetly reccommend this hotel to everyone

Reef Oasis/Reef Oasis Blue Bay?

Can anyone tell me where these 2 hotels are.In the winter Thomson brochure the interior shots of the Blue bay are the same as the Reef Oasis.In the new Thomson summer brochure the Reef oasis has 3 stars and the Blue bay 4stars(Thomson rating)The exterior photos of these 2 hotels are different but the rooms are the same photos.

Hi Jay, I am a bit confused by this too. We were at the Reef Oasis in September and they were doing some pretty major road building work. We were told it was going to be a new road down to the beach, which would make sense as the steps are quite steep. But yes, the photos for the Blue Bay are actually taken at The Reef Oasis, perhaps someone can throw some light on this?

i am going to the reef oasis blue bay in december and have never been to egypt before. major advice needed on what to do when there!!!!!! :lol:

Has anybody been to this hotel?
I think it only opened late last year. The pics in thomson brochure look great.
If anyone has booked for this summer can you give me an idea of the cost.

I have looked at this hotel and asked if anyone had stayed here because in the Thomson brochure I have the photos look identical to the Reef oasis.Someone suggested it is an new extension to this hotel.

Hi,

Does anyone have any info on the Reef Oasis Blue Bay in Sharm El Shiekh ????

There are 6 of us booked to go here in September through Portland Direct, all there brouchures show planned appearances for this hotel, but now the website has stopped listing it as a destination........does anyone know if this hotel is even built yet ???? Any info on this would be great....

Also when we get there, we are plaaning to go to Cairo, whats the requirements concerning visas etc. And can we obtain them before we travel, or do we get them in the airport when we get to Sharm ??

HI just wondering has anyone been to the Reef Oasis over Christmas and the New Year. If just booked today and it looks realy nice. can anyone give a wee run down of what to expct. Thanks all
