We been to benny twice, well, just out side at Alibir gardens, but spent a lot of time in benny. We might go back next year, but it will be our first hols without the kids.
Not been to Benidorm yet, going for first time in Aug. I have been to Torreveija though.
Sanji, loved your latest video, only complaint is we didn't see the Villa
Julie and I first went to Benidorm, (she had been there several times before), as fellow musicians wanting to get to know each other better, and we are now married - now doesn't that say something about Beni?
I must admit that when I was first approached to accompany Julie on an all inclusive holiday which she had already booked back in January 2003 to Benidorm, (if you want to know what kindness is, meet Julie ), I was a little apprehensive! Benidorm, home of the Lager Lout and low life How wrong I was. Isn't it awful how a few incidents back in the '70's tarnish one's view of a place they have never been to.
I fell in love with Benidorm at first sight! I am really looking forward to going back to what are now familiar places. Familiar people too. Not just the Hotel staff and other locals, but artists like Mike St John (Uncle Mike to us), Danny Downing, Danny Dean, Tony Scott, Jason Kane, and of course, that little Yorkshire Comedian, Gary George. There are many others, but I must not miss out Amanda and Kym, who are Abbaesque
Yes, Julie and me are off to Benidorm again at the end of May for two weeks, (we only got back a month ago), and we are once again staying at the Villa De Benidorm. Julie and I first went to Benidorm, (she had been there several times before), as fellow musicians wanting to get to know each other better, and we are now married - now doesn't that say something about Beni?

I will be there on monday for my FIFTH visit this year. I try to go once a month if I can. (Except august which is a bit too warm until we get the aircon fitted)
I have stayed in Benidorm over the last 20 yrs 8 times, i came back last night i stayed in Primevrea dos nice Apartment
It'll be great to read some stories about this.
I been going since january 1st 1988.Seen many changes from a town to a city.
Been going to Benidorm since 1978 we have definately seen many changes. We stayed in the Hotel Orange the first time with hardly anything round about us just look at it now, cost us £60each for full board for two weeks those were the days eh? suppose that was quite a bit back then though
No doubt some members (not mentioning any names, such as Sanji & Pebbles ) will have dozens more trips to add to their previous totals.
David
Not to mention Kevin Shute.....
I just love it
I have been that many times i have lost count, although i have been to other places and had a good holiday i always seem to compare it to Benidorm, for me there is nothing to beat Benidorm for entertainment, regardless of the weather there is always plenty to do. This year i went in March, going back in December. I have tried to stay away, but in all honesty, there is nowhere to match it.
luci .just back today only 2 weeks and i will be back again
Ha ha Kevin. I'll still be here when you get back. Text me and we'll have to meet up again.
I can't remember how many times I've been to Benidorm, but I'm getting ready for a visit before Xmas.
Sanji, see your flying the flag, is there a footy match tonight or summat.
Sorry for going OT.
I've lost count...but dont think my bank manager has!!!!
after the 8th July it be once:-)
We have been to lots of other places (mostly Spanish) but love Benidorm.
I keep details of all our holidays in a database so that I know exactly when and where we have been.
Sue
I went last year in easter period for the 1st time and loved it (as these benidorm forum posters will know) went again march just gone before already being booked in for august, and will be booking for next easter with my good freind (northantsj) and family who i have met twice already there. Just love Benidorm, and them.
The first time we went was 1976 travelled with my late parents, hubby and baby, stayed at the Rio Park, our room overlooked some herding goats, and we loved it. For some reason, cant think what, we didnt return until 2004 just me and hubby, we have been six times since then and it is our favourite place for many reasons but the overriding one, being value for money.
