We're biased - buying in El Gouna near Hurghada - our property has more than doubled in value in 18 months - has year round dry climate (though a bit windy sometimes) - no monsoon season, no real nasties in terms of possible illnesses (low rabies/malarial risk ) low crime rate (in Gouna at least) & can get flights direct to Hurghada now for as low as £69 e/w with GB airways - not sure how all that rates with Goa in comparison though :?:

Brad, I think you need to check out details with the Reserve Bank of India before buying in Goa. According to their website, foreigners are not allowed to buy 'immovable' property - be very careful. Portuguese law stills stands here as well and it is very corrupt here, so be on your guard!

ggg - well, let's hope he has checked the law properly then, in fact, I hope lots of folks have checked the law properly and not been swindled.
