I have stayed in the Blackpool Hilton for B&B following a summer wedding. The room was comfortable, clean, but on the small side. It was also a little noisy from the number of rooms close by, plus with the window open slightly, excessive noise from the streets below. We found the room to be too hot - easily cured by turning the radiator off.

Really excellent breakfast in nice surroundings.

As you are also staying at weekend my suggestion would be to ask for a quiet room, then turn the thermostat down as soon as you get in there.
