Try Es Cana and in particular The Hotel Caribe,it has just recently had a refurbishment and has good large pools (one adultand one kids)all rooms have air conditioning and tvs .and it is only 100yards from the beach.
I took my grandkids last year and had a good time.

If you want a quick trip from the airport try Playa Den Bossa. It is a ribbon resort so nowhere is more that 10 mins walk from the beach. Plenty to do, great beach for sandcastles and safe water.

I went t o majorca last year and my daughter loved it, I think at 9 she will be happy anywhere as long as theres a pool and other kids and food.

Are the beaches nice?
