I posted this question in the wrong forum yesterday (DOH!) but hope I get it right this time.
I usually go to quiet resorts and hope that Myrtos proves to be just that.
Has anyone heard of, or stayed at, the Pantheon studios please?
Any feedback on the resort would be very much appreciated.

Have you visited this website :- http://www.myrtos.org/myrtosv.html
try to picture this. an ex small fishing village right on the open sea in south Crete. the village since the 90s that i start going has developed and has some accommodation and tourism shops, but its not that touristy as other small resorts. it still has some unique characteristics of the old days. i can see the differences since the 1990 but i still like it and recoment it as holiday destination. At the end of the village there is a small road that runs along the sea side and can take you for lots of kilometers in long peddle (i am not sure for the word spelling) beaches that some of them are really nice. nudists some times go there or families that they want to camp away from others but close to a village. the sea if its not windy is really nice but it gets deep very quick as its in most of the south beaches here. i dont know the accommodation you have mentioned and unfortunatelly its a bit far for me to go and look around for it.
as a final comment i will tell you that even the greek local like it and go there so that makes it probably nice

Hi Greekofile, I stayed at Plakias last September just along the coast from Myrtos, and visited Myrtos just for a day. Found it to be very relaxing and a sleepy sort of one horse town, the whole area is very relaxing and quite pretty...........dont know the accommodation you ask for, but I'm sure you will have a lovely break when you get there. By the way Myrtos produces some of the loveliest Cretan Honey try it really nice!
Myrtos - one of my favourite places on Crete. Please give Ermioni in the cafenion a hug (but beware her raki - it's lethal!)
One of the friendliest places on Crete, the only downside (or upside because it's one reason it's not overrun!) is that it's not close to "anything much"!

Thanks to everyone who replied. We are really looking forward to it and apart from wishing our lives away we'd like it to be June already.
