feeling really excited now. We spent new years eve with friends and have all decided to return with them to the Manuela where we spent 2 weeks this year having our best holiday ever. I have been tempted with a few other resorts but think that because we enjoyed bitez so much and the fact the staff at the Manuela were so great its probably best to stick with it, especially as none of the friends have even been to Turkey before.I'm interested to know what changes Oktay who owns the hotel has planned for the beach and hotel.
Mind you I hate the feeling of being responsible for recommending somewhere incase the others don't like it.Oh well just need to sort out dates and flights e.t.c and away we go again.

Pleased you're going back to the Manuela Mel. It was mainly thanks to you and to Briar that we decided on the Manuela last year, and I'd like to say thank you very much.

I,m thinking of trying to get there for a week in May also, with my daughter as i'm giving the ski trip a miss this year and leaving it to the men in our house.I realise i'm not cut out for ski action ( apart from the apre ski!) and laying on a Turkish beach is more my style

I've been trying for a couple of weeks to access it.
Just fancied having another look at the hotel. Nine weeks seems a long time before we will actually be there.

I have had it in my "favourites" since last september, and it was OK until a couple of weeks ago, then it went off. Have tried again now with no luck. I have tried http://www.manuelahotel.com in the task bar, also searched google but it still won't fill in.

Well ..... Mike's checked our internet settings, all Ok. And I still can't get it to fill in.
When it first went, I thought it was their site which had gone down. But it seem it must be somethig to do with our computer.
Will keep checking it.

Yes it definatly must your computer i'd say .my link is working fine. Hope you manage to get it working ok. I'm about to book our flights this week but our party seems to be growing by the day so it's making harder to get so many.We're up to 19 of us so far!!! help!!!

Hi everyone, my wife and I are just back from Bitez last Sunday. As you know the Manuela isn't open at present, but called in anyway to catch up with Argie and the others. The welcome is as warm out of season as it is in the middle of the summer. Everyone is doing well, the place is getting ready to open in May, Argie has everything under control, Kenel is as ever thinking on how he can improve the menu (I don't think he can, the restaurant is always excellent), Hussein is making sure that the Temple Bar doesn't run out of beer (very important) and Eric is starting to prepare the bar for another busy season. Roll on June and August! Can't wait!
