At last there is going to be a modern passenger rail link for Benidorm.

I know the last time this was proposed, the taxi and shuttle services were up in arms about it, obviously because of the lack of business.
I think it is fantastic news...made my day.!!!!
This will be great for the people who want to just pop over for the week-end, go DIY and will open up the oportunities for visitors to the region.

About time as well, will make DIY a lot easier. I have avoided Benidorm last year and this because the Costa del Sol gives a better option. Roll on 2011.

Yes, I agree with you,

I have no problem about going DIY to the Costa del Sol, the rail link from Malaga airport is a godsend if you are staying anywhere between Malaga and Fuengirola.
I personally would pop over more often to Benidorm, but the taxi/transfer from the airport is what puts me off going.

It will make a difference for us. We have used the bus in the past, but usually end up hiring a car because the bus is so infrequent.

I hope it is more regular than the bus when it starts.

It will certainly make a difference to us as our last few holidays have been diy. Unfortunately the bus didn,t co-inside with our flights and we were,nt keen on the first come first served basis the bus ran on. Excellent news.

Can you help I watched your video footage of Benidorm the one which include Tapas Alley, could you send me the link please. Also I think I read you were looking for a cheaper deal to Benidorm, have you tried direct holidays, they are very good we are travelling from Glasgow to the Maderia Centro at end of March and it's £300 each for i week FB per adult.
