                I agree. I live here and you tend not to notice things around you, but for a visitor there are hundreds of things to see and do. Shopping in manchester, Liverpool and the TC. Chester Zoo, Blue Planet, Blackpool, southport.
Walking in the Peak/Lake District, Formby sand dunes, out to Hilbre Island, macclesfield forest, reservoirs between bolton and Blackburn.
I reckon you could come for a fortnight and be busy every day.
