i have read somewhere that we will need to get some injections for our trip To Sharm in august, is this true, and if so what one?
sorry if this has been covered already.
thanks
Hi, it has been covered elsewhere in the forum and Im sure Briar willprovide a link. I cant remember off the top of my head, but if you phone your gp or make an appointment with your practice nurse they will be able to help you. I know that one of them is Hep A, and possibly typhoid.
This is the relevant thread.
Basically you need the routine jabs as for almost anywhere, Hep A, typhoid etc. Nothing special for Sharm or the usual tourist areas. No malaria or yellow fever thereabouts.
You should see your GP/practice nurse for advice, but gettting them in asap so you can have any boosters and get the full, prolonged cover is the best move.
