There are quite a few reviews about these apartments HERE

Hopefully one of our members will be above to give you the information on the studios.

Hi there,

we stayed in The Brilliant apartments a couple of years ago - not a studio but the 1 bedroom apartment was huge - me plus parents (were o9ut for a wedding). The location is fantastic. When we were there they were bulifding Eden Square which we cut through to get the the main strip. Now it is all fully operatinal there is at least a well lit path and and bars and restuarants. I would say you are situated on the top road, a few minutes walk down to the main strip or a few minutes walk along the top road to find even more restuarants.

Well placed I would say (about 5/8 mins walk to the beach).

You will have a great time - only wish I was going back to Cyprus this year but can't take any more holidays as I have honey moon booked for end of the year. Never mind - always 2007.

Can somebody give me a rough idea as too were the BRILLIANT APPARTMENTS are situated please in the resort Proteras?

Is it a good walk too the Beach?

The Brilliant is located on the main road through Protaras. You can walk down to the main Strip through Eden Square, it would take you about 5 mins. The beach would be another 5 mins, cutting through where the hotels line the beach. Fig Tree Bay is a bit further round but easily walkable. I would say it has an ideal central location without being subject to noise from bars etc., and the apartments and pool area are very nice.

Hi All

Am really very interested in these apartments.

Can somebody please let me know which they think is better, a studio or 1 bedroom apartment for me and my husband?

Also do all the apartments have a fridge, I've checked on the Thompson holiday website and they just mention kitchenette with 2 gas rings etc.

Merry Christmas to one and all

I'd definitely go for an apartment rather than a studio. Although not at the Brilliant we did have a studio in Cyprus once, and an apartment is much better. The studio will be an "all in one room" job while the apartment will have separate bedroom.

And yes, you will have a fridge (and almost certainly a kettle & toaster).

regards,

Richie

Thanks davetraceyuk, we've booked the Rising Star instead as friends of ours stopped there a few year ago and it was lovely - nothing to do with your review although we will have a 6 year old and 17 month old with us so the pool would not be ideal - thanks again
