are £50 notes easy to change in Goa or is it as problamatic as in the UK

no i havnt done a robbery
also some of the places where you change money may not have £50 worth of ruppees if they have had a run of customers.
Besides which £50 worth of rupees makes a big wad of notes to go in your pocket/wallet
better with £10/20 if you are taking cash.

My bankers , HDFC Bank will change 50 pound notes without a problem. The Bank is next to Nizmar Resorts, Opp Midas Touch in Calangute.
I will be taking Cash and CCs as a back up.
I was thinking of the bulk in my pockets
kindest regards

the £50 notes dont originate from kent do they
the £50 notes dont originate from kent do they
Haha, do you mean the robbery of all that money from a security depot in kent?
I don't know what you mean
I have a similar problem. I always take travellers cheques but order them online through my bank. I order about 1,000 but most of come in £50's. its really annoying because i dont want to change a £50 travellers cheque at once, so have to go to the money exchange ,get it changed and then put half in our hotel safe. I think this time ill phone my bank or go in and tell them i want most of them in £10 or £20's
