I know we've had this question before but forgotten already. Can anyone tell me which days the markets are in Icemeler/Marmaris this year

Wednesday Icmeler Thursday Marmaris last year though you never know what happens and they may change again this year.

I read somewhere that both these markets are going to be on the same day in the week, not sure of the day though. Try http://www.icmeleronline.com Once you have seen one though......
I've been through 'search' but can't sort out what is current information. As I see Chelsea Boy is browsing at the moment, I'm sure he'll give me the answer straight away! Which days are Icmeler and Marmaris markets, still Wednesday for Icmeler and Thursday for Marmaris??
My daughter has booked a sneaky week from Monday, although she's coming with us in 5 weeks too! As she missed the market last year (who could??!!) she doesnt want to this year

Just for some info Antalya has markets ever day in different areas of the city. Where do you plan to visit and then I can tell you where the daily market could be.

not to far because the kids get bored traveling lets say about 45mins from side
because when we take them to blackpool they get fed up and thats only 30 mins away
anyway if we like turkey me and my hubby are going to book when we get back and go in october on our own heaven
how far is the aqualand from side and the waterfalls the really big one this one looks great

If you are going to stay in Antalya then it is not to far and everyday there are markets.....but if you are coming from Side is about one hour away from Antalya.....but on thursdays and mondays always big bazaar in manavgat... 3 kms away and bus service or dolmus every 10 minutes or so.
Aqualand is located on the Konyaalti side of Antalya so I would estimate about 1.5 hours away from Side. If you are staying on a package tour I am sure they have tours to the waterfalls as well. Manavagat waterfalls are in the Side area and the Duden Water falls are in Antalya.

icmeler market on weds very close by club tokmak
I can't remember, mostly because its not very good.
You'd be better off going to Bodrum Carol, its huge and on Tuesday, near the dolmus station there.
Or Turgutries - a bit longer on the dolmus (or air-conditioned coach if you book with a tour agent in Gumbet) maybe 30 minutes, but its even bigger than Bodrum, and you'll have time to take a stroll along the beach there etc too before you return to Gumbet. Turgutries market is on a Saturday.

Hi i just came back from marmaris yesterday, the icmeler market is wednesday and marmaris market thursday.
I visited the icmeler market, i enjoyed the haggling it was fun, the prices of bags, shoes and clothes were very cheap. Also lots of fresh fruit-- lovely !

There is a market building at Thursday market area. open air market is oppisite Grand Azur Hotel and around Star Aquapark.
hi we went to turkey last year and picked up some real bargains at Fethieye Market. i seem to remember it being on a wednesday, but i've been to bed since then so may have the day wrong. it's well worth a visit though. (it was even given a mention on GMTV last week) just a word of warning though...when you go to Turkey be sure to leave lots of space in your suitcase in order to get the bargains home again. my husband had to put his foot under the weighing scale at Dalaman airport to avoid us paying excess baggage. phew he must have some strong muscles in his foot because we were way over!!!
