...from a newbie - well, just a little about myself....
My first visit to Goa was in January of this year - I wasn't sure what to expect, least of all to fall in love with the place, the people, the lifestyle, and everything else about Goa - not least of all the January weather out there !
So - I've decided to go for it, as I'm virtually semi-retired anyway, also separating from my wife, after 33 years, and I would like nothing more than to spend my winters in Goa - especially Candolim, where I had such a great holiday.
So, please bear with me if I ask loads of questions as I go along, as this board certainly looks the place to be for anybody that loves Goa !
well that's my twopennorth, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on here !

I'm almost in the same boat as you,
I'm off to Goa on the 24th March for 4 weeks, not only for a holiday but to see if I will be able to stay for the next winter.

Going to Goa for the winter is the best possible move! Just on my 1st winter here!! Here theres heavy snow back in England
