We are looking to go to Goa around the 3rd of April but don't know anything about Goa!!
Please tell us the best place to go! (I've heard of Baga Beach, Candolim, etc) We are a couple in our twentiues and love gorgeous beaches (prefebly clean) and fairly busy nightlife but also like a bit of culture sometimes.
Help!
p.s. whats the weather like around april? Is it overcast/humid/dry/hot??
Any advice whatsoever will be greatly appreciated. Particularly from people who have been to different parts of Goa and can reccommend their favourite place?!
Weather is general;ly hot and very humid.
The beach is great, but if you fancy a change and want some peice and quiet then head further north to mandrem beach(think thats how its spelt) Have a browse through this forum and you'll find lots of ideas on trips etc.
Have a good time
Is it overcast hot or dunny hot. We went to Thailand in May, it was scorching but overcast so tan wasnt that good!!
Cheers
Ive never been in april before, always been in jan/feb, but because of university this year i had to go i the easter break. I think it should be sunny, not overcast .To be honest i cant think of a time that it has been overcast in Goa, and i have been going for many years. You will definetly get a good tan. Make sure you keep hydrated with kingfisher beer
Will generally be sunny, however you are coming towards the start of the monsoon season so you may find you get the odd storm and the odd cloudy day.
hya we went on the 15th april last year and it was very hot and humid we had a mini tornado but apart from that seen no rain at all, we came back 2 weeks ago and the weather was great but i need to top up my tan so we are going back the end of march!
It was hot and humid in April but you do get used to it.
Club Cubana is good night out and the nightlife in Baga is pretty lively for bars though the music is not ewhat we would class as recent!
so wheres the most gorgeous clean beach in Goa then??!
Benaulim, Varca in the south, everytime for me
Palolem in the south and morjim or arumbol in the north.
Benaulim and Agonda both in the south.
..all of them apart from ..coco beach
Patnem in the south (about fifteen minute walk around the headland from Palolem and much much quieter). Mandrem in the north.
