Hello i plan to take my son to egypt , but im not sure what month to take him. Im already going to Goa in a few weeks( been going there for years) but i want to go to egypt in sept/oct time. My toddlers 3 so i would like a hotel with something going on for kids as i am going on my own with him. Ive seen a lovely hotel called coral sea resort which i have had a look at and it seems really nice. What is egypt like during end of sep to October? i want it to be warm, at least high 20's. Ive never been to egypt before and i would like an all inclusive hotel.

It will definately be warm - if you're talking September it'll probably still be in the 30's.....if thats too hot you might want to leave it till mid-end October when it's more likely to be late 20's - although you can still get the odd scorcher even then! It's a year round destination so everything will be available.

Thanks for the prompt reply lisa, this is why i love this forum soo much. Ive only ever used the Goa forum, and found that informative, and now ive decided i want to go to Egypt.

i have had a look at the weather for epypt and it says for october there will be rain, but im not sure thats right?

any rain in sharm is short lived... it can be windy, or desert sand can blow around a bit. A jacket/cardi should be enough for night temps.

Be aware that the flight home is longer than the outbound one, due to weather fronts. Make sure you buy a seat for your child.
