Has anyone been to either of these resorts, have been offered a week at these hotels as part of Sunterras' referrl scheme and hopd someone may be able to give me the lowdown on the hotel, resort and whether or not the flights go right above the hotels? was in GDS a few years ago and got used with it but wondered if it was still the same?
Also, are there any good restaurant in GDS now as there were only a couple last time and hoped there were a few more by now.
The Country Club - San Andres is as close as you could possibly get to the golf course. Fabulous pool area. The apartments are only two stories high. There is a good restaurant on site - the name of which escapes me at the moment. Expect noise from aircraft!
Santa Barbara is more high-rise ... being 6/7 stories high. It is further from the flight path and first line to the sea. Good pool area but it doesn't feel as spacious as at San Andres.
Accomodation is up to usual Sunterra high standards
