Hi
If ive been given the correct imformation by my family
All the footie match are night game's
So laying by the pool wont help you escape
Also my sister just imformed me that when we are there
3rd/10th July the matchs are still on last one gets played 9 July
Thought i'd escaped from footie
Not sure how true this is? but its worth thinking about if all us none
Footie fans are thinking about laying round pool while hubby family etc
Go to watch the match we will all have to re-think
Dont take this as gospel but its worth looking into
Well I will just go shopping and get my hair done and a pedicure or else it will be if you can't beat them join them .
Some games kick off around tea time in Turkey so i will still have my peace around the pool, i could also be tempted to toddle off shopping on a night too while they all watch the night matches
Im of to Marmaris for the end of the worldcup and was wondering where are the best pubs where mostly the english will be watching
thanx in advance

whilst in Marmaris we stayed mostly at the bars along the beach front and not up the main bar street. There are loads of bars along the front that were showing footy so you can pick any number of them, spoilt for choice! :-)
There are loads and loads of bars and restaurants throughout the resort that will be putting the footie on. We were there in euro 2004 and it was on in practically every one we walked past.
I have been to Marmaris before and seen all the pubs along the front but just wanted to know if there were any particular pubs to go to watch it where the atmosphere will be good
regards

A good place that my girlfriend and I last year was the Turtle Bar along the seafront. Very English orientated which in turn attracted the English! On the night we first drank there, they were showing a video/dvd of Chubby Brown, and when people started gathering, it was a good atmosphere with the drinking and the laughter! After that, the karaoke started. I'd guess that they'd be showing the World Cup for us English folk!
im in hisaronu for one of englands matches (20th june) CANT WAIT! lol il be out in force with my england flags! haha!!
Im very happy now, we had the sky television installed yesterday in our apartment bar. fingers crossed for england.
Leaving on Wed 10th May for 14 nights, there's a hell of a lot of football being played in the UK those two weeks, I know you don't miss a match in Spain as its on in many bars, but what about Turkey??? We are staying in the Armutalan area. thnx
every game there is will be shown in a bar somewhere.Lots of bars in armutalan to choose from so dont worry
I have a boyfriend that is panicking about the FA Cup Final not being shown in Marmaris as we are going there on thursday..I've told him that it will be on in a bar there somewhere but he needs reassuring!
Nicky

Does anyone know if there'll be places in Turunc who will be showing the matches?
Don't care if England don't get that far - I love the atmosphere of watching footie on holiday
Rowdy
We are going to the Aegean Dream next Sunday and wondered if anyone knows if there is anywhere to watch the play-off final on Saturday in Turgetries??
Thanks for any help
who will be watching the first two Group Games England have in Hisaronu?. I'm going on the 9th of june for a week with my Girlfriend, its the first time we have been to Hisaronu and we are both looking forward to it!!
Cant wait!
Four old men and two women will be hitting icmeler with the sole intent of watching the world cup and having a great time. We have decided that we will be supporting England ( of course ) Holland ( they play the arggies) Brazil ( we love football ) and Korea ( they play the French ). Really looking forward to sun sea footie and more footie.
Will the England friendlly games be on in Turkey. If they are, looking for somewhere child friendly where my husband and son can watch them. Have read about the Three Bells and Turtle bar, will they be ok for kids or not?. Thanks
