Sorry, can`t give you a review of the Don Marco, but can show you a video and some photos
Have a look at this link and I would say that the Don Marco will not be noisy IE: loads of kiddies....there were no kiddies there when we walked in. but that does not mean it is and adults only hotel and will vary depending on the time of year.

From what I saw, It`s a very nice hotel, I would go in it tomorrow. and would love to be pampered in the spa section.
I can`t vouch for the food and the rooms, cos I never got in them, but you do know that you can use the facilities of the other 2 hotels in the complex ( Don Pablo/Don Pedro)
The hotel is smack opposite the beach ( a road to cross) and there are plenty of bars around the hotel.
The promenade opposite is all flat and you can walk to Benalmadena...a fair way away, but like I say all flat and very pleasant.
Torremolinos town centre is all uphill, but taxis are all of 4 euros and a pleasant walk back downhill.

Go up to Torremolinos and there you can get on the train to Arroyo de la Miel (Benalmadena), Fuengirola or Malaga itself.

Nice area, but maybe I`m a bit biased, cos I love all that area
