Hi there, we're staying in trianda in June, and was wondering how far a walk it is to Kremasti?
Also what type of place is it? Is it worth going for a look around or a night or day out.?
Many thanks as always.
I would estimate walking time from Trianda to Kremasti would be about 45 minutes. In a car it takes about 10 Minutes.
As you travel from the airport towards Trianda you will actually pass through Kremasti. Kremasti is a small village which is centred arround one of the largest churches on the Island. It has a local shops, bars and restaurants and is an actual village rather than a tourist resort. The beach is about a mile from the town centre with pebbles and can be quite windy with rough sea. The beach is not over developed and focuses on wind surfing and para surfing.
I would definitley go to Kremasti while you are on holiday. Its a really nice village with some trendy bars and some clubs, as well as more traditional places. There is also a bowling alley on the road towards Trianda, which can be a laugh for a evening.
