Average prices in a resturant eg Marios opposite the Bouganville

Glass of wine approx 3 euro

Main meal somewhere between 6 to 12 euro (lasanga or steak)

The Slow Boat Chinese in Puerto colon does a nice "Banquet" 3 course meal for 12 euro.

To bring stuff back.. well cigs and spirits are cheap compared to the UK
Only allowed 1 litre spirits and 200cigs though

We take £100 per day plus £300 per week (and a Visa card for emergencies).

This does include all food drink trips taxis etc and all the additioanl purchases my wife makes at the market (Vuitton/Gucci) handbags etc.

roughly what I expected....

I went to Turkey last year and couldn't spend half of the money I took as it was soo cheap so thought i'd do my homework this time!

I think we'll deffo try the Slowboat sounds great value for money and I'm sure I've eaten in the one in Lanzerote before and it was really nice
Wish I could stick to that commandment billiboy but I've never managed to go on holiday without twice the clothes!

I'll be bringing back some booze too - I'll use mine and my travel buddy's allowance
