im pretty sure all the A/Is are outside of the town centre. Maybe someone will know which is the nearest to the centre of town. . having said that if you find one reasonably close im sure they will lay on a courtesy bus into town. we are staying at the hilton sharks bay - they seemed one of the best in terms of laying on day/evening entertaiment but it will be the usual audience participation stuff as is normally the case.

The one at "sharks bay" yes its all inclusive. but again its a little way out of town but they run transport into town

Yeah I think I need somewhere a bit closer to the town centre. I have been looking at the Dreams Beach Hotel but it just doesn't look appealing at all. Its maybe just the brochure, Im not sure.

But I am still undecided.

Have booked for the sonesta club hotel which is in Naama bay. Only 20 min walk from the town centre and is all inclusive.

Does not look great in the brochure either but we are going for the location more than anything else.

Came back from the most incredible holiday in sharm last night, stayed at the Concorde El S alam, Did off road jeep driving in the desert, had tea with bedoins, saw dolphin by speedboats, found a bedoin style cafe in the hills, had the time off our lives (pregnant and with 2 kids with me and hubby at home!)

We have looked at the Concorde el salam and it is one of our favourites. The only problem is that its not close to Naama Bay. But it does look a very nice hotel and I have heard the taxis are cheap so we may go for the Concorde.

What is the entertainement like?
In your opinion is it ok for age 20 - 24 yr olds? we dont want a really lively place just a good atmosphere.

Although this hotel is not very close to Nama Bay I wen there last Xmas and it was lovely. Hotel Calimera Royal Moderna. It is 5* AI and was only built in 2004. They do a free bus service to Nama Bay aswell.

It's only about 15mins in the free hotel bus or le30 (£3) in a taxi. It has much more space than the Naama bay hotels seem to have . We loved it. The entertainment was varied and I would say there is something for everyone. There is a free games room with table football, snooker, and other games. Great hotel. I hope this helps- Jules
