Got a place booked in Panjim from April 1st...but i'm now hoping to arrive on 29th March from Delhi.
What's the best method to just turn up and get a place for 3 nights?
Get my own taxi and stop off and ask, or ask a taxi driver to sort it out? I don't suppose the airport has a hotel desk yet.....:lol:
I'm looking for somewhere in Candolim/Calangute/Baga...clean, quiet, with a pool so i can laze around, aircon, get a decent ayuvedhic massage..........
I wanted Sonesta, cant imagine they'll be full but they want $40 per night via email quote.

Either of the 3 resorts will have plenty of rooms available,I wouldn't pay anything like what you are being asked to do.That will be your best option to ask the taxi you are in, to take you to a hotel - if you don't like the look of it or the price move on to the next.

There will be LOTS of places available, just go round hunting for somewhere if you want to save a bit of money then don't do a hotel just grab a small room somewhere, people don't tend to spend much time in their rooms anyway, especially if you're coming alone. Just get somewhere that's clean, hot shower (if required), should be able to get somewhere for about $7 - $12 a night....
