Do we have to barter in shops like the markets?
Or are the prices reasonable and fixed.
Thnaks.
McGroogle
No point in haggling over gold/diamonds as they will just put a cheaper diamond in etc.

Peter
Hi McGroogle, someone told me not to barter in glass fronted shops. I didnt and if the items didnt have a price tag they gave me a price and before i got a chance to open my purse they started knocking the price down themselves. Id still have a go at bartering with them or if you are buying more than one item ask if they can give you a better price. Anna.
Hi McGroogle, don't show interest, don't buy in the first few days, sus out the places that sell the type of things you would like to buy, start at 1\4 of asking price, walk away to next shop if need be,always smile & be polite, follow mrstella's advice on diamonds but if buying ready made you can try a little haggle if you win don't let that stone out of your sight they can swap a stone in 30 seconds trust me I've led a very sheltered life
