We have had a fantastic 2 weeks and the weather was brilliant.

I had a great 40th birthday party.

Our flight was delayed by 4 hours and we were then sent to tenerife on a jumbo jet with another flight.

But the worse was the next week when friends of ours who were due to fly out were delayed by over 12 hours.

We flew xla708v which was due to leave manchester terminal 2 at 8.00am we left at 11.50am on a jumbo jet. Not to bad of a delay for us.

But the following week 24th March my birthday. There were 4 friends and my mum and dad coming out for my party at mary rogans on that night.

They like us was on the same flight. Due to leave Manchester at 8.00am arriving at tenerife 1.30pm which gave them enough time to arrive and have an hours sleep before going out.

But guess what they to were delayed, by over 12 hours

Yes you read that right 12 hours. They were put up in a hotel in manchester during the day. But that was no consolation cause they were coming out for my party.

At 7.00pm they were taken back to manchester airport taken to a room and had to pick our there luggage which took a while. Then the flight was split into 2 groups.

1 group would be leaving on a flight around 9.00pm the other group would be leaving on a flight at 11.00pm

My parents and friends were on the 1st flight luckly but not lucky for us as they only arrived at our hotel at 2.30am just as we arrived home from our party.

I was really upset as there were people i wanted there that couldn't be there or didn't come.
On leaving tenerife the following week we again were delayed.

I will never fly with excell again. Nor will any of the people that were on the plane with us.

That's a real shame!! Was considering flying with them in October,but think I'll try another company.Wondered if it might be them. Glad you enjoyed the holiday though.

That's terrible. Makes me guilty as me & Mrs Makum were intending to come along but decided against it as we thought you had so many of your family there we'd not be missed. Sorry dood.

No problems, i had a great night. There was quite a few of us. Trying to save seats in Michaels is a nightmare.
