we are staying at Esra apartments in altinkum this year and was wondering if any one who stayed there took any photos of the place and surrounding area if it would be possible to see them please.
i have seen photos on the net of the place but would prefer photos which people took who visited the apartments so i can get a true picture of the place .
many thanx from jaspa and northeast.
if you have any photos of the Esra apartments you can email or pm me them if you dont want to put them on the main web page

thanks nuttynet
Hi, has anyone been here, thinking of booking for next year and what is the place itself like, is it expensive for eating , drinking out and is there any excursions to go on?
go ahead and book it its agreat place with plenty to do you can go on plenty of trips and nothing is expensive you dont even need to get taxis anywhere as they will come and collect you its fab i loved it ibe been to marmaris 3 times but much prefered altinkum
Thanks nutty, you dont have shares in it do you lol,,,sending the wife to book it today.
Got booked up for 2 weeks on the 19th aug,,Anyone else going or have any info on the place and area..Thanks and a merry Christmas to all
I have holidayed in Turkey for the past 4 years and have been to Olu Deniz and Icmeler.
Olu I found Ok but a bit too quiet and hotel based , we absolutely adored Icmeler.
How does Altinkum compare?
I will have 4 children (poss 5) with me , aged 16, 13, 12 and 10
Will it be as safe for the kids here as it is in Icmeler where they can wander themselves a bit - I am concerned about the Teenage girls and wonder if they will get hassled?
I have a good price for the holiday and flights suit but I dont know if I should stick to what I know and go back to Icmeler!
hi we stayed at the esra last yearand loved it we are goin back this year but have booked a private appartment quite near the esra. the pools were great and the staff friendly. there is only one bar right by the esra but all the other bars etc are in walking distance all the kids at the hotel seemed to be having a great time. if you dont want to walk anywhere you can phone most bars and they will pick you up. the staff took the boys to play football most nights they have the usual bbq night which was fun,and were always dancing around the pools.i think it would be quite safe lots of the youngsters were going off for a few hours in the evenings i suppose it depends how happy you are about letting them go we had a fantastic time the rooms were large but basic ask for one on the ground floor then its easy to pop back for drinks etc ive been to marmaris 3 times but much prefered altinkum
We found olu deniz too quiet and resturant based and craved the waiter dances of Icmeler and teh cha cha slide! - Also olu traders seemed not to want to barter with their goods.
Would you say Altinkum is smaller than icmeler?
I was all set to book another trip to Ic but then the price went up and now I dont know whether to hold on for flight only or take the deal that has popped up here.
going to Esra apartment in two weeks self catering.
Could anyone tell me what is actually in the apartment regarding the way of cooking amenities. Does it have a kettle etc??
Thanks Elaine
I am wondering what sort of food to take and what i would be able to cook when there.
Does anyone know if there is a fridge and an oven.
Thanks Elaine
Hi you have to hire a toaster which I think was £10 a week last year. There is a fridge and kettle but only 2 small cooker rings ( hotplate )
thanks for the reply
i think it's scadalous that you have to hire a toaster with it being self catering. With paying for air con it makes it expensive before you even start. I think they should add the price of air con into the main hol price cause at the end of the day who isn't going to have it in August!!
i think its shocking that you have to hire a kettle i'd give them a wide berth by the time you pay for everything you'd be skint
Hi were off to this place on friday, just wondering if any one has been and know if there is a gym there, and if its any good.
