I have booked to go on a yoga retreat at the Hotel Sindbad in two weeks time. Am concerned about the (very) mixed reviews on this and other sites. Has anyone been recently? If yes, candid reviews please. I understand that the hotel probably desn't deserve its 5* rating but dont want to spent ten (precious) dys holiday in a hotel from hell!

I haven't seen any reports on the Sinbad at Hammamet but know it is given 5* so it should be absolutely fine. I don't know why there should be such a disparity in hotels of the same group (which I assume it is), as to my way of thinking the stars should only indicate the amenities available and standard of food and decor perhaps. We look forward to your report on your return. I hope you have a great time.
