Never seen any dolphin trips, wild or captive, in Rhodes.
No, have to agree with Alanwall on that one though once on a trip to Symi we had a dolphin alongside for a part of the way.
Thanks, perhaps we'll have to go to Symi then and hopefully possibly see one. by the way, is it worth going to Symi for the day ?

The daytrip takes you to the Monasterty at Panormitis and then onto Symi Town (harbour). Go for the scenery and the trip though as 9 times out of 10 you won't see a dolphin, it's all down to luck .
Symi is well worth a visit - have a look at The daytrip takes you to the Monasterty at Panormitis and then onto Symi Town (harbour). Go for the scenery and the trip though as 9 times out of 10 you won't see a dolphin, it's all down to luck .
Agree with Marcus, don't go just in the hope of seeing a dolphin. In many, many trips to Rhodes that's the only time I've ever seen one. Symi is a lovely day out.
We went to Simi on the boat as well and got a welcome surprise when about ten adult dolphins followed the boat for about twenty minutes. It was a great sight and made our day.
