Tamarind or Don Jao? Both hotels are okay. Beach at anjuna is good but no sun beds. Not many charter tourists, more old hippies and backpackers. Depends what you want from your holiday.

Are you after a self catering hotel, apartment or house? Or do you not really have a preference/

There are certainly lots of houses available in Anjuna but you really need to be there to find the right one.

As mentioned, Anjuna is more old hippie than Package tour so it depends what you are after. If you really want the more package tour end of the market then there are lots and lots of apartments/ rooms available all over North Goa. They generally cost around 1000 rupees a night (for a double en suite) around that time.
