My parents were over run with ant when they first bought their current property, they appeared from nowhere and seemed to be everywhere. One day I walked into what was my bedroom and there was a black patch on the wall about 2 ft across, on closer inspection it was ants :yikes. They were told by a friend to try Jeyes fluid. They bought it by the gallon and poured it all around the outside walls of their bungalow. After a few applications over about a week they had success. After placing the nippon ant traps indoors to kill off the ones that were inside and using the Jeyes fluid outside they have never had any more problems.
