hi,the jakinta is behind the tobago in a quiet street mid way between palma nova and magaluf so you are close to both.
I hav`nt stayed there myself but have popped in for a drink.it is a spanish owned & run small hotel,the rooms have a balcony and I think they are are a bit basic but it all looked clean and tidy.
I think if you want a basic handy place to stay without any frills this would suit.
I am sure I have a card with futher details on it I will see if I can find it.

Just got back from Majorca this morning. We had a look at the Jakinto, sorry didn`t see that you wanted phone number till I got back. The hotel is a short walk up hill, just past the Tobago. I didn`t go in but it looks very nice, small and friendly. It had a bar that looked busy with lots of Spainish on the two days we passed. I`m sure it will suit you just fine Pipefitter. If you go let us know all about it on your return.

Sorry to go off the subjet but I`ve noticed you visit Costa del sol a lot, we have recently stayed at El Tiburon hotel in La Carihella the Jakinto looked to be a similar type of hotel.
